Release History:
----------------
08-24-91: Released Version 2.00. Complete rewrite in Turbo
Pascal Version 6.0. Made program faster and smaller,
but no other changes made in the working of the
program. Updated docs and split up in different
sections.
Now uses CNAMES.@@@ instead of CNAMES.
If error occurs program exits with ERRORLEVEL of 1.
07-08-91: Released version 1.14. This fixes a bug in counting
messages on BBS's that have blank conferences that
didn't a MSG for each conference defined. It would
cause the program to inaccurately count the number of
active messages.
07-01-91: Released version 1.11. This is an update with a new
feature added. If you load the program with the /T
switch it will enable you to update, in the file, what
time the program was run. See section under "write
file (with time) and NEWS.TXT for more info. Did a
little more optimizing.
05-17-91: Released version 1.10. Completely changed the way
errors are handled. If an error occurs when trying to
find a MSGS file, it will write the error(s) to a log
file (PCB-MSG.ERR) and continue to process. If an
error occurs at any other point, the program will beep
twice and dump to DOS, again updating the log file with
the error message.
05-16-91: Released version 1.07. Changed the way error messages
are handled. If an error is encountered when trying to
find a MSGS file it will write the name of the file to
an error log (pcb-msg.err). If an error is encountered
at any other point, the display screen will come up and
display the error for 10 seconds or until a key is
pressed, and then return to DOS.
05-11-91: Released Version 1.06. Fixed a small bug in version
1.05 that would crash the program if used on a large
system, over 400 conferences. It can now be used for
any amount of conferences.
05-01-91: Released 1.05. Added a feature that will allow the
logging of conference number, name, and number of
messages into a file. Done from the command line (/p).
The file created is called PCB-MSG.LST.
04-17-91: Fixed a bug that would not let the prompt be left
justified. Version 1.01 released. Hope that's all.
Changed zip name to allow version numbers. Now called
(msg-101.zip)
04-15-91: Version 1.00 released. Hope everything goes well.
